In a time such as this

It can be gone in the blink of an eye
leaving us to wonder why
     Pondering the fact
     of how precious and delicate
     is our existence

We must acknowledge the strength
and reach beyond the break 
     when our circumstances

     are more than we can take

Hold on to your faith
and don't you let go
just take it day by day
you'll definitely get through
Trust that at all times
The Lord will direct 
what you should do

I can only imagine
how a mind & soul 
can be so damaged
that all the will and hope is gone
and life can no longer 
be managed

It's time to take authority 
over the hurt,
over the pain,
Troubles won't always remain
if you continue to look toward the hills
help is on the way
DO NOT be easily dismayed
