Death is all around
with no place to escape 
     the fate
that we all must encounter
At a time in which
we know not the day
nor the hour

Belief and faith is key
to possess the power needed
to withstand the pain and hurt
that will result from 
having to face the loss
of someone so very close

Know that God is stretching out
His unchanging hand
to pick you up 
out of the valley low
and he'll help you to stand
while giving sweet peace and rest
in your spirit 
as you do the best you can
