Can we?
Will we?
Shall we?
How do we understand?
So much comes around and through our paths,
we look and wonder why.
Should we laugh, should we cry?
Maybe live or die the die, or supply the lie.
Let's comprise, oh you've already tried?
Struggling the line,
right or wrong, to dark to see behind.
Night and day, the same old song to be played.
Do I have to listen in, or can I move on,
farther on, but how much farther?
The beat goes on and on.
One by one count the milestones,
the milestones of today's society,
all around us.
New occasions, new cruelty, new ruthlessness,
haunted between two opinions,
all at the palm of our hand.
Still we as a people must understand.
A philosophy for you to demand.
Everything happens for a reason.
In any and every season.
Release the fear that stand,
we all are trying to yet understand.
