On Lust...You, I, and He

by LaMesha L. Craft

You and I
Aahh…
New love, fresh, and tender
Like the morning breeze,
It promises serenity
But then…
There is…
Me and He

Me and He
Currently “We”
We have so many years,
So much history together
But the storms
The storms have gone unweathered

You and I
I and He
We have a dilemma,
A dilemma have we!

You and I
Are really only a fantasy.
But Me and He…
Or should I say “we”
Are more of a Dynasty!

You
Are the grass,
The grass that is
Supposed to be
So green.

But let me stop
Stop to reminisce,
Dig a little deeper…
Aahh!
Now I remember,
Me and He
…”We”
Were once full of glow,
Like a well lit moon
Glistening on a bed of snow
Pure, new, fresh
You see

So me and he
Or should I say
“We”
Once had what you are
Promising me…

You, I, and He
