Trying To Get Your Attention

by Lady Tee

I notice two-thirty you walk through the door,
the stride in each step when your feet hit the floor.
You're so fine in that red and your eyes sexy brown,
Give me butterflies when you come around.

From the sway of my hips
To the lick of my lips
In the blink of my eyes
      I can't deny
I've been trying to get your attention

I'll do anything once, if I like it twice.
It sems for so ling I've been trying to entice.
  (you)
Never sampled "Dark Meat" and I want you to see
can't no other fe' put it down like me.

From the sway of my hips
To the lick of my lips
In the blink of my eyes
      I can't deny
I've been trying to get your attention

So i flashed you a smile which then drew you in.
You said we'd hook up if I told you when.
Conversations got heavy, we were ready to play.
This girl wanna show you it's all in the way

that I...
      Sway my hips
that I...
      Lick my lips
when I...
      Blink my eyes
     It can't be denied
I've been trying to get your attention

When you came to my door I know you could see
my t-shirt and panties covering me.
You grabbed my face and gave me a kiss.
The touch of a man my body had missed.

Our lust had built up, bodies ready to burst
Head between my thighs satisfying your thirst...
To taste these juices and sex through the night.
Two bodies are one when it's done right.

So now that we're done and we've reached our peak,
an answer from you is what I seek.

Was it
     The sway of my hips
     The lick of my lips
     The blink of my eyes
     or even these thighs
 that finally got your attention?

This poem is based on an international affair that started out
as a fantasy. I'd always had an interest or fasination with
hispanics/Puerto Ricans. (just stepping outside of the norm for me)
I wound up hooking up with a co-worker who had never been with
a black chic but always wanted to. (Never sampled "Dark Meat"),
So he became my first and I was his.
