Southern Summer Breeze

by Komboa

As I looked out from the comfort of my summer gazebo
into the not too distant fields, I couldn’t help but notice her.
Splendid, ebony colored satin skin. Moderately clothed in a
form fitting, pearl colored, summer dress.
Casually strolling the length of soft, plush, country grass,
which lay beneath her feet.
She unconsciously blessed the earth, and all that could see,
with the vision of her beautiful statuesque physique,
which came as close to perfection as mother earth would allow…
As the birds sand their songs of love and happiness
to the bees planting their pollen of life.
This mystical creature sought temporary release
from the heat of the mid-day sun under a lone weeping willow tree.
And as the cool, soothing, southern summer breeze
gently caressed her soft, delicate skin-
stealing an innocent touch-
it hurriedly carried her intoxicating fragrance to me.
And I saw heaven momentarily…
I’d like to thank that southern summer breeze!
