To those of you who live "Incog-negro"
Those of you who see a black man as any thing but an equal.
Even though you share the same skin;
This man is black, whilst the other is "African American"
Individuals who would subject themselves to "The Paper Bag Test",
Just plain and simple idiots blinded by stupidity for
adhering to that mess.
You do not have to forget who you are,
In order to reach the stars.
I am almost saddened to say
That Dr. King would be ashamed if he were alive today.
Being black is not, living in poverty and being in the hood.
It is unnerving how the whole world has us misunderstood.
These idiots who glorify money, murder, and guns,
These who were once Africa's proud sons.
There are so called "African Americans" who have laid
waste to the war for integration.
This war was fought for us to have an education,
A treasure we look at now in discrimination.
We even have those who would bleach their skin
Get a reverse tan and long to look like white women.
All in all I'd say it was a sin
Cause I enjoy being me, be it Negro, Colored, Black,
or African American.
I can be all of these things and still be comfortable
in my skin.
