I Know You But You Not Know Me

by Jonathan Love

I know you but you not know me.
No I'm not happy, not as happy
as I can be. For you judge me
by color and not by character, I was
born a slave and you, you were born
a master. You slaved me, you caged me,
and you never ever paid me. You used me,
you abused me, but you never
ever fooled me.
