Johnica J. Garrett resides in Hampton, Virginia and is currenly a student studying international relations and journalism. Throughout her college career she has contributed to several publications including Orange Magazine (Austin,TX), Black Ink (Austin, TX), The Daily Texas (Austin, TX.) and the Mace & Crown (Norfolk, VA). She is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
