Beautiful Like Africa's Kingdome (BLAK)

by Joe Dill

I have dreams of going to my motherland
Walking the streets with bare feet
Just because I can
Everyone is equal
No one is better than the next man
My brother apologizes after stepping on my foot
We don't even have to raise fists
It might sound farfetched
But together as a people we can accomplish this
Load up the boats, let's go
Black captain take control
Play some of that James Brown the man with soul
This feeling nothing can replace it
Once we reach Africa
Everybody jumps off the boats
This is your new humble abode
We are now all Princes, Princesses, King's, and Queen's
Sit back, relax
Relieve your mind of those stressful things
You can now rome the continent of Africa
Be yourself, be free
Beautiful Like Africa's Kingdome
As a people, that is we
