The owner's sons

And brothers and cousins

And uncles and friends and neighbors

All raped the slaves, both the male and female

 

All of the owners and

The owner's daughters

And sisters and cousins

And aunts and girlfriends

And neighbors all raped them

 

But that, I can say, is not the end of the story

And I can prove it by a love for humanity

Not everyone can see it, but I feel it

Someday the raping will cease

And slaves will be free
