Mom

by Jason P. Jones

Mom you are the first woman in my life,
When I would cry you would ask what was wrong,
Mom you were there for my frist date when things didn't go right
Mom you were there when things didn't go right in school but we
 worked them out together
You showed up to all my football games, track meets and even when
the high school choir had to go sing you were there
Thank you for understanding and helping me out when I didn't want
to listen to you or Dad,
Mom thank you for teaching me how to cook a full meal and even
 how to do the landury,
Mom thank you for staying out late playing basketball with me in the
 backyard,
Thank you for playing playstation with me even though I had to teach
you some games but it was still fun,
Thank you for keep a tight reign on me so I would not end up in jail
Mom you are that PERFECT ROLE MODEL,
Mom thank you for being the frist and the last woman in my life
I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU
                                   Your one and only son
