In the beginning it was so much fun
We learned more about each other as the days and months went on

Closer friends we became
As the New Year began

Can we turn back the time to the late night phone calls?
Where you made me laugh and basically tell it all

How your car got stolen and you begin to cry
We never wanted to get off the phone cause you couldn't never say good bye

There was never a dull moment we always had something to share
We would be friends forever, you would always be there

But now a days it seems like we are drifting away
I never feel like talking anymore and you are usually gone all day

I miss our friendship and I wish I had it back
I know you have new friends
but don't forget about the old ones that you had way back

I know I tried to stop talking to you because of all my insecurities and fears
But I still miss you and want to see those great big ole ears

My head is big I know but it may go down one day
