With his hair in corn rolls
to show them all he's a strong black man
walking proud and standing tall.
In his eyes I see the look of love, hurt, peace
and honesty in those same eyes,
I see the future and all that our children will be.
His lips are big, bold, juicy and round
as they gently caress every syllable
and every word, and every sound.
Within his hands I feel his strong masculine,
but gentle touch,
in those same hands I feel
I love and need him so much.
His shoulders, so broad and so wide,
to carry his head on his neck up high
as he walk with pride.
In his arms is where I'll be loving him,
honoring him, walking with him on this journey.
I love this man his heart, and his soul,
I love him so much and I want the world to know
we are as one the way God intended us to be
and even while he's away(D.O.C.#925674)
his love lives inside of me.
