Everyday we wake up,
we try our make up,
and fail to look up,
cuz of bills to pay up.
Like a sailor we deck up,
stack the poker cards up,
pray we catch up,
still nothing shows up.
Soon challenges rise up,
more trouble shore up,
our helpline hangs up,
the pilgrim walks rough up.
If we get knocked up,
let's belt up and get up,
blame no one, just shut up,
don't withdraw nor close up.
Soon we get fade up,
we shout and scream 'get out'
when the kids mess up,
cuz we've lost the play off.
Then we all give up,
we think we've been sold out,
feeling dejected and wash up,
assumes our destiny beat up.
