Celia, I thank God for you
and all the joy you’ve brought to me
It’s hard to believe that the past few years
haven’t been just a dream
but the sweetest of reality
Because you saved me
at a time in my life
when all seemed to be going wrong
I prayed for someone who’d understand
and then you came along
It’s almost like you read my mind
or saw directly into my soul
but whatever it was gave me strength,
it made me whole
And to this day, you’re there for me
to support, protect,
love and care for me
And although I don’t always show it
someway, somehow
I’m sure you know it
But just in case, I’ll say it again

You are the reason I continue  to smile
on the outside as well as within
 And if I were to die tomorrow
if my days were over and through
