I'm not in love, but I used to be
My world is now blind
to what love's eyes once blessed me to see
I'm not a tresure to behold
or a diamond to be admired
Just an empty soul
which by no one is desired
I'm not someone you could easily hurt
nor someone you would ever hate
My spirit is not yet gone
but I don't believe in fate
I'm not a figure of innocence
but never a picture of sin
I look back and i am ashamed
of all the things that i have been
You throw stones at my heart of glass
while tears shower your window pane
I don't have Heavenly beauty to lose
but so much more to gain
I don't have many gifts
however I cherish what I've got
and if you love me you should love
all that I'm not
