Quit Chiefing

by Doug Holloway

Its getting ridiculous said months ago I was quitting this
This smoking habit aint no joking Im getting ridd of this
Im tryna double my earnings but I cant with this Im berning
Im failing for this Im yearning my lesson finely Im learning
Considering my life my future was always held in a cup
Getting high I should be down but not giving a fuck
Potential wasted Im getting wasted off that good and tasty
Was feeling like if you got that good then gone head and blaze it-
Amazing I cant remember when I had quit it or started
Smoking sacks till my head start hurting Im damn near retarded
Near and far it don’t matter Im smoking foreign stuff that a
Keep a high for days like I was Bob, Marley or badda
From, Iraq, to Georgia, and here in the Ten
Blazing up with my nigga and all his brothers and kin
So (keep all) ya high and (keep ya) supply and (keep all) ya blunts to ya head
Cause I aint with it would quit it if I aint high when Im dead.

I GOTTA STOP, CHEIFING, PUT DOWN DA WEED AINT HELPING ME-
JUST HAVE TO STOP, CHEIFING, WITH THIS HERE GREEN I CANT SUCCEED-
GONE HAVE TO STOP, CHIEFING, THROUGH THE WEEK HIGH IM CONSTANTLY-
IM GONNA STOP, CHIEFING. YES I WILL STOP, CHIEFING. STOP CHIEFING.

Dis chiefing only cheaing me Im going to have to quit anyway-
Spending time with Mary Jane and forgetting about whats her name
Dat hay it stay up in my veins Im going to have to stop soon.
Damn a cloud, astronauts, go, straight to the moon.
Smoking till Im a fool, bro, now Im lower than scu, bas-
Getting off dis band, wagon this my stop off the school, bus
They might pop us for a test and if they do Im gone regret-
That I never had the self will to get off of this train, next
Aint, just, a quitting song this, here is the deal
That Id be dead and broke as hell with nothing put in my will.
