Young Len is the pen name of Leonard Hackshaw. He is 24 years old and lives in Queens, NYC. He began writing poetry when he was about 16 as his outlet to the world. He says "I had an extremely short temper at that age and found it better to write and express my anger than to be violent and or destructive. So I began to write and have been writing ever since."
