Mr. Right

by Barbara Evelyn

I believe that for every female there is a special male
Who is destined to be her mate.
He may not come charging in on a white horse
Or he may not be muscle bound and wearing a fancy cape.
He may be a neighbor, or a long ago friend
He may be someone she sees every day
Or someone she will pass along the way.
I think we believe too much in a rose tinted life
That comes from a Disney story or fairy tale
But our everyday man may be waiting patiently
Just for you to exhale.
To exhale the toxins from the life you currently live
To remove yourself from the abuse and suffering.
when you think you've had enough and that there is no more hope
He'll quietly appear and you will know
That this man is no kind of joke.
He is the one who'll respect you
Cherish you and be your friend
He'll provide the love and companionship that you need
Worshiping you to the end.
