Thank you lord for being there for me;

Showing me your words are devoted and true
I thought I lost one son and you showed me I have two;

I know there is a lesson in the trials I have been through
And the one I will hold close is I could not make it without you;

Lord, touch my sons in a mighty way, 
And show them a sign that they will see dad again one day.

A sign to show them I’m on my way 
And my love for them is there to stay;

As I sit outside this evening with nothing to do,
I looked up at the sun and said they see it too;

On the other side of the world, smiling hoping you both are having fun, 
Knowing what we have in common is god gave us the sun;
