There's a lot of controversy surroundin' "The Passion of Christ"
A new film about the last 12 hours of His life
Many are callin' the film anti-Semitic
And questioning the motives as to why Gibson did it
But the one thing I find so utterly amazin'
Is that none of it is centered around His bein' Caucasian
This continued portrayal of Christ as Caucasian
Reinforces a form of mental enslavement
I'm not sayin' that the film is not a good picture
But the image doesn't jibe with the One in the Scriptures
If you really wanna get an accurate depiction
Daniel of the Bible gives this description:
"He had hair like lamb's wool and feet like burnt brass"
There's no way that the man in this film could pass
And the fact that this image is allowed to remain
Proves that white Christianity still hasn't changed
'Cause if they were really interested in bringin' the Truth of the Scriptures
Then Denzel would be Christ in the picture!
