My Sister

by Ghetto Girl Blue

I m not a religious woman

But I know how to love

My sister

Don’t want you to have to go to Jesus

Want you to build an alter on my soul and

Lay your burdens down

With Sister fellowship I will bear your cross

With a little help from our

Sisters

I m not a religious woman

My mouth is too full of soul healing tales to chant

Nam myoho renge kyo

Into the mirrored belly of Buda

For when I see your face

Distorted with pain

I have seen my reflection

When I nurse the wounds your lover leaves

Across Your heart; Your body; Your Face

I have healed my own .....wounds

And when you cry aloud at night

Thinking no one hears

Because Man’s God

Has turned a deaf ear to

The Sisters

I am hoarse in the morning

Too hoarse my sister

To pray to God

Too busy loving my

My

My

Sister

I know....

How to love you
