While walking through the woods

I could hear the sounds of nature

The birds were singing

With a soulful rhythm

 

On a brisk autumn Day

The squirrels were

diggin for nuts and

a possum was hiding behind a tree

 

We finally sat on a bench

Forgetting the hustle and bustle

of the city

which was so dense

 

I felt like I was

on an Island with waterfalls

Although it was just

a day in the country

Cause I was with the one I loved

 

On this brisk Authmn Day

Even the ducks rhymed

With the birds

 

Now, Let's get on the buggy

Was that a horse, I heard

It'll take us back to the city

Oh well, back to reality
