It came to me in a dream
eyes wide shut
and mouth closed
breath stopped
and my heart sped
to meet
what dead eyes
could never see
and then
like stars from a sneeze
it came to me
just like that
and when I awoke
and sight was born again
I was left to realize
that I was still asleep
