Early Morning |
by Marilyn S. Ferrell |
Birds rise early to greet the earth with a sweet new song to sing, the bees welcome the dawn with hard labor, kissing flowers to make honey and breezes blow ever so subtly as trees yawn, waking their sleepy heads ever so gingerly. The creations of the earth implores us to join them in early morn's labor, indulging the soul in the richness that it brings. In reply, we rise to their biddings, and then, hit the snooze button, FALLING BACK TO SLEEP. |
