Beneath Rainbows |
by Marilyn S. Ferrell |
The poem is dedicated to all surviviors (and victims) of domestic violence: physical, verbal, or emotional. Your love reminds me of the raging seas, it's like a zealous beam casting its shadow in my dream, it makes me coil into shells of momentary tranquil, it makes me empty of all thoughts, wondering if its like a flower subject to decay, or like the air, that just fades away. Your love dulls my heart as it leaves it marks in vain... Your love brings me pain. |
