Mind empty 
Desperately wanting to write a poem 
Feeling the need 
To force the pen 
Until it bleeds ink onto the paper 
Stains on pavement 
Beating my thoughts 
Waiting on just one 
To be submissive 
Give into being exposed
So maybe I can unfold 
Mystery behind the writer’s block
