Daddy's Little Girls

by David Farrar

There's nothing more rewarding
Than the love of a child
From that day they are born
To their very first smile

Though dependent on us
They seem to find their own way
Through trial and error
As they mature by the day

Being a Father myself
I was blessed with two girls
Two precious little Angels
With their pretty little curls

They fill my house with songs
And their cute arts and craft
They just tickle me so
From the joy in their laugh

Though silly at times
They're smart as a whip
It's hard to catch them off guard
Or even give them the slip

I enjoy all those moments
They spend by my side
For I'm there when they're happy
And I'm there when they cry

They're my two precious Angels
The treasure in my world
And I will always put them first
For they're Daddy's little girls
