Words Of A Poet, Words For The Poets

by Kevin D. Ervin

Poets, forget that you have an audience
and the false face(s) of fear, rehearsal,
performance and attachments (mediocrity)
becomes an un-necessary waste of time...
Taste the very nectars of liberation;
the sensations of speculation is no more than what "it" is,
in comparison to the life-actual experience...of God,
an ever-present truth...
Soul, memory, inter-action with thy ancestors,
purpose, silence, the "all" of God,
let that be you audience.
At all times, as God actually is...
listening, watching, feeding
every moment of time and experience...
F*#!K complacent propaganda and f*#!k performance,
it sours everything, every poet....,
more so than the blunt damn truth...
