Emmoretta P. Jones, a native Chicagoan, is a storyteller—a childhood hobby that grew into her passion! Her writing is inspired by relationships with family, friends and acquaintances. She also gets her creative motivation from past and present happenings. In her spare time she enjoys reading and writing poetry and prose which engages the human mind, heart and spirit. The skilled writer and educator teaches college composition and is a contributing writer for the Neighborhood Writing Alliance publication, Journal of Ordinary Thought. This lady of letters enjoys being in the company of other fellow literary artists, frequenting local and national writing events.
