M. Earl Smith is a writer based out of Philadelphia. Before committing to fiction, M. Earl covered sports for several blogs and sports sites. His first novel, The Sorrows, was completed in 2013 and is currently seeking publication. His second novel, Faith, Taken, is currently in the works, to be finished in 2016. M. Earl lives at home with his two children, two cats, and his Guinea pig. M. Earl was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. M. Earl graduated from Chatfield College in May, and currently studies Creative Writing and History at The University of Pennsylvania, where he moved after living in Ohio the last 12 years.
