My Lady Love

by Dwayne O. Foster

My lady of love,
How I think of you always,
Amazed by the beauty of your face
Dazed by the grace at which you speak
Tasting the perfume of your love letter
  That greets me with empathy
Your words are liquid to me….
As only God could have it flow
   into the sea

Phased only when I realize
   A new day materialized
   Though the faith that I
   Shall touch your face….
The brightness that explodes flowers
The wetness of a morning shower
   In the form of you….
My most poetic stanza,
The love of my life, Chrissandra

Pictures blanketing my vision
Brewing another thought
As I listen to the memory
   Of the sweetest voice
   And beckon for a kiss
   From lips so moist….
A silken brush that grips my soul
And sends coolness through my skin
Rolling waves rippling through my chest
Boiling from deep within
Merging you to me
Your breath becoming one
   With mine
As our essence intertwines
