Her first novel, Frostbitten was inspired by many of the trials and tribulations she encountered as a young black professional, professing Christianity. This fictional story depicts the life of a young black female who transitions into 'Corporate America' from the confines of a familiar and comfortable ethnic and socio-economic background. The setting takes place in the late 1980's and bounces between Philly and suburban Detroit.
