D. Milan is a creative writer with a unique style. The Oklahoma/Alabama native began writing at an early age, winning awards and appearing in various publications nationwide. A graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce, D. Milan uses her work as a platform to foster individuality and freethinking. She spends her spare time collecting books and redesigning her living space. Her literary influences include Zora Neale Hurston, Flannery O' Connor, and Paul Laurence Dunbar. D. Milan currently serves as the Founder/CEO of her own nonprofit. Her goal as a writer is to spread positivity through the honesty in her work as a critic/analyst in the fields of music, culture, and art while encouraging others to explore the reality of their dreams.
