Diane Foster lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Master’s in Social Work where she was elected President of the Black Social Worker Association, University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa Chapter. This afforded her the opportunity to travel and study in Ghana, West Africa as a Fulbright Student.

Most recently her essay "Regardless..." was chosen for publication in an upcoming book, Spirited published by Lisa C. Moore of Redbone Press.
