Jealousy

by Darcell Dann

Is it the hair? The complexion, so brown and smooth.
These big brown eyes or my sexy style.

Is it my walk, my talk, my deep intellect.
My man or my kids that's got you vexed?
Sista, I know I'm blessed but don't hate me child,
It's all about confidence and self respect.

Can I help I speak well, ignorance is not cute!
Can I help I look good in my business suit.
Brief in one hand, Liz in the other, Evan Picone shoes
---size eight in soft leather.

Married with kids, four to be exact
All at a young age and body is still in tact
So you know it's all good, now what's to be said about that.

I plead to my sistas, don't be jealous, let's work together
Let's love each other because a jealous heart will not prosper.
