Alex Clermont is a writer born and raised in New York City where he received his BA in English creative writing from Hunter College.
Aside from work as music journalist, his fiction has been published in the anthologies The Bodega Monthly and Every Second Sunday — a collection by authors from around the world. His short story, "Catching Butterflies" can be read in the anthology Out of Place, and his story, "Standby" can be seen in the online literary magazine Scholars and Rogues.
He has independently published a collection of narratives titled, Eating Kimchi & Nodding politely, about his time as an English teacher in South Korea. He has also self-published a short story, Missing Rib, which is available in the Amazon Kindle store.
