No More He She Said

by Catherine Whitehead

He said
She said
You said
I said
They said
You thought
You knew what I was thinking?
Shame on you.
You can't think Righteous thinking
For you
How you gonna know my thoughts?
No wonder your head hurt
And mines don't
You keep trying to think for both us.
Here's an Aspirin.

If you assume
And I didn't say
Keep believing it your way
One day you'll open your eyes
And realized it's a new day.
It's your fault that you've
so must hell to pay.

If I didn't name your name
If I didn't call your name
If I didn't say no name
Then you wear the shoes. It's okay.

I don't say anything to you.
But your guilt tell you it's all about you.
Stupid is as stupid be

Only a Fool throws their peace away.
