Roll Away the Stone

by Sharon Thomas Cash

Looking out into the world through your narrow eyes.
Judging other people about how they live their lives.
Compassion and humanity that's what you lack.
Your heart has become cold bleak and black.
We were created to be who we be.
Stop hurting others let them be free.
Loyal to your gang your gun and your lie,
shooting and killing you don't care if they die.
A bullet a bomb an AK-7 or a glock,
no matter the method they all stop the clock.
Looking at the world through narrow eyes of hate.
Telling yourself lies that have now sealed your fate.
Narrowed eyes finally open as you pass through the gate.
A heavy load to carry all that hatel stress and strife.
Too late as you realize you gave up your life
