Love Rescue in Flight

by Sharon Thomas Cash

Thoughts dance through the video screen of my mind's eye.
I taste sparkling teardrops as they dance by.
I own my sad scorching truth. I mourn my lonely lost youth.
I remember that orange September, wet leaves on the ground.
Reflections of the heartache that I had found.
Pearls on my lashes shimmering pain, the smell of fresh flowers mingled with rain.
My memories released among the universe, bright piercing lights.
I see music I hear the stars, standing on a cloud looking out at the night
Trying desperately to catch your fragile heart in mine.
Rescue me I'm falling I'm floating I'm spinning thru time.
