Struggling to maintain a peace of mind
Crying out to retain my inability to
reach my destination.

Struggling to handle rejection to move 
on without injection freeing myself from 
the obstacles that hinders my progression.

Struggling to remove years of pain, poverty,
and hopelessness hoping to gain control 
of my exalted state of existence.

Struggling to move forward holding on
to my values, the faith in GOD.

Obtaining the right to be 
African-American creating, bonding
and uniting my culture with other cultures.

Living with integrity
no longer struggling to 
hold on but fighting to be an
AMERICAN!!
