I am the leader of my fate.
Bound and shackled to the soil
from whence I came from.
Who am I?  A black reaching out
to a country who tells him he has no
place in this society.
I thrive to become one entity to
guide my people to the highest heights
of multitude.


I am the leader of my fate overiding
the pain that brought my people from
Africa to America.


I am the leader of my fate guiding my
people through the plight of indentured
servitude.

I am the leader of my fate excerbating
the racial injustices that minorities
face in this country from day to day.

I am the leader of my fate speaking on
behalf of Dr. King, Malcolm X, Medgar
Evers, Fredrick Douglass, David Walker
and Benjamin Banneker.

Today is the beginning of a renaissance
giving black people all around the world
the right to be leaders of their own fate
to seek an seize to rise above the
degradation and become Emancipated!
