I weep for my brothers and sisters out
there who have no clue of who they are,
no direction in their lives.
As Black men an women the struggle that
WE as a race have endured since the first
slaveship landed in America has been a
connstant battle in our fight to hold on
to what is rightfully ours and that being
our dignity.
I weep for my brothers and sisters out
there killing one another and stripping
away the lives of their own race.
I weep for my brothers and sisters in
this everchanging society lost and
embittered having no educated mind and
not knowing where or whence they came
from.
I weep for my brothers and sisters rotting
away in prisons oblivious to the fact
that the system doesn't give a damn about
them.
I weep for my brothers and sisters dreaming
for a better life and not knowing the path
to take towards that better lif.
My brothers and Sisters let's rise above
the racial injustices and seek the
knowledge our ancestors passed on to us
to be strong warriors and proud of our
heritage.
Take control my brothers and sisters be
the possessors of your own spirit.
