Prayer is your language 
Praise is your heavenly song
Joy is your contagious emotion
Your worship combines them all   
You are there each day to catch me
When the enemy tries to tear me down
You speak words of victory to cover me
That creates a shield against the enemy
Keeping me safe and sound

Its true warriors like you are not immune to negative circumstances 
You face some of the same trails
Fear tries to grip you 
But you are planted like the steady palm      
You rise above the chaos 
Boldly speaking God's word which brings peace and calm

You always remind me that we are anointed and empowered
Created by a great God to do his divine will
So, I mount up mentally on wings of an eagle 
To soar above the pitfalls  
Embracing the greatness inside of me
Aware of the enemy's tricks but, I am refusing to fall 

We stand our ground and embrace our Godly cause
This journey is not for the faint of heart
But being joined with you a vigilant warrior
Who will fights the good fight with diligence
Protecting me each step of the way
I rest in knowing you are my spiritual protector
Shielding me, watching as well as pray
