Conquest of A King

by Camara

I saw him walking from a distance,
Instantly, my heartbeat became inconsistent.
The Strength and Agility
In which he moved,
Reminded me of Royalty.
His posture, beautifully erect.
He spoke to me with a distinct air of dignity,
His mind was fully in tact.
He had wisdom well beyond his years.
When this brother approached me,
His presence comforted all my fears.
With each breath he inhaled,
Mine was taken away.
His ebony eyes pierced my soul,
I could not escape his gaze.
I wondered what else he would say,
Our conversation had ended
He licked his full lips and proceeded,
To ask me one final question---
Immediately,
I yearned for him.
My Conquest had begun
He was the sole purpose for my existence.
