It all started out from a simple glance.        
A meeting from our eyes puts us in a trance.
As I watch you go by with a sensual walk.
I had to approach you for a little talk.
We chatted, we laughed for a long while.
Then I asked you out with a devilish smile.
You said that you would and that was it.
Until you realize we were a perfect fit.
We fell in love so quickly from that first

not advance.
You had another lover, a fiancee, a friend.
So we knew we had to put this love affair to
an end.  You got married and his baby you had.
I wanted you to be happy so I told you I was 
glad.  Deep down I wanted you to be mine.
The connection we had was so dam hard to find.
