No Where To Turn |

Salty sweat burns squinted eyes. Blood beads, stinging opened wounds. Tired bruised exhausted arms. I can not sit,nor stand. Thunder clap voices shout "Keep moving!" Swollen hands, blistered. Fingers ache unbearably. Splintered knee pains. Pain traveling down what's left of my two stubbled toes. Stripped flesh so sore, back raw. That one there , I got for forgetting my new unfamiliar name. The longest whelp for learning how tah read...the v-shaped mark covered shoulder to shoulder was for crying out "Please don't sale my only child! Hateful, cruel, meaningless shame. My despair his delight, my dismay his honor. Yokes, chains, shackles his amusement. Away from me whip! Away from me toil and trouble. Mourners pass...death cries joyfully beyond it's fresh grave. Her dead now...cause of me! She went to her final place of rest loving me! Her love she shared not,her love she gave not to non-other. Unwillingly captive with no where to escape, no where to hide, no where to turn. Her only surrender ...she ran straight into God Almighty's arms for delieverance. My heart is held captive, no pain in the flesh is worse. With fire in my eyes I shall join her. A Noose will be my freedom for I struck her owner. Mourners pass,I smell death. I smell another fresh grave. I dead now cause of her. I went to my grave loving her. My love I shared not, my love I gave not to non-other. Unwillingly captive, with now where to escape, no where to hide,no where to turn. My only surrender...I too ran straight into God Almighty's arms for deliverance. I free now....I free!!! |
