As I awaken to another blessed day of Life,
I embrace the Peace, & Serenity.
Green meadows, & blue sky’s comfort my eyes.
The gateway to my emotions inside.
I am in a distant dream.
A Long awaited Peace.
Blissful silence is my friend
Alone with my thoughts,
Alone with my dreams,
Freedom to be me.
The calming whisper of the wind
Emancipates my Spirit
I inhale deeply,
Envisioning my hopes for tomorrow
The sun caresses my Skin
I exhale slowly,
releasing stresses held within
A quickening occurs in the temple of my being
As I embrace this new day.
