Alone I stand in the Egyptian Sand   
Becoming 1 with myself 
Becoming 1 with God
Unifying myself with the universe

On a quest for solitude
On a mission for tranquility
I breathe in hot air, as the deserts surroundings envelope me 

I exhale all mindless thought
Unleashing my aspirations
Into the consciousness of my spirit

I am on a Journey

A Journey for Peace
A journey for Purpose
A Journey to become whole

The hot desert heat purges me 

I begin to sweat 

Sweating out all the strenuousness of life 

Away with hatred 
Away with pain 
Away with distress

With each drop of sweat 
I let go of Regret

These Futile emotions designed to destroy my divine purpose 
I have escaped the perplexity of life’s repetitions
I am on a mission

 
My life is a jigsaw puzzle some would think  
Somewhere out there, there is a missing link
I came here to find it
